About the Role

We are seeking Sales Managers (Full-Cycle Sales)—both early-career go-getters and experienced closers—to join our founding sales team. You will take ownership of the entire sales process: from lead generation and outreach to product demos, pilot structuring, and closing deals with K-12 schools and districts.

This is a high-impact role at a high-growth stage. You will help shape our go-to-market strategy, deepen district relationships, and bring transformative technology to educators and students.

Responsibilities

  1. Own the full sales cycle: prospect, qualify, pitch, demo, negotiate, and close.
  2. Develop and manage a pipeline of K-12 school and district leads using a mix of outbound and inbound strategies.
  3. Tailor outreach and presentations to district priorities around AI, equity, innovation, and teacher support.
  4. Work cross-functionally with product and research teams to ensure our offerings meet school needs.
  5. Pilot, track, and iterate new sales approaches in collaboration with leadership.
  6. Maintain clear, accurate records of outreach and pipeline activity (e.g., in CRM).
  7. Represent Colleague AI at conferences, webinars, and district meetings.

Qualifications

We’re hiring at multiple experience levels, and encourage candidates who meet some (if not all) of these to apply:

  1. Experience in Edtech sales, business development, customer success, or recruiting.
  2. Passion for K-12 education and AI technology and social impact.
  3. Highly motivated professionals and being ambitious of co-creating significant adventure and business with the founding team.
  4. Self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, early-stage environments
  5. Strong communication, persistence, and curiosity
  6. K-12 teaching experience is preferable.
  7. Having existing partnerships with school districts is a plus.

Senior-Level

  1. 4+ years of full-cycle B2B or EdTech sales experience, preferably with K-12 districts
  2. Track record of exceeding sales quotas and closing institutional deals
  3. Confidence working with superintendents, curriculum directors, and IT leaders
  4. Experience selling pilots and/or annual contracts
  5. Ability to mentor junior teammates or shape sales processes
  6. Highly motivated professionals and being ambitious of co-creating significant adventure and business with the founding team.
