Senior Software Engineer (AI-Powered EdTech)

Colleague AI is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help advance the next generation of AI systems for K–12 education.

As a Sr Software Engineer at Colleague AI, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered educational solutions. You will work in an agile, high-velocity environment where we ship major product features in days, not weeks. Our tech team leverages AI-enhanced workflows—including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot—to build faster and smarter.

AI Research Engineer

Colleague AI is hiring an AI Research Engineer to help advance the next generation of AI systems for K–12 education. This position will be in-person only, located in Kirkland, WA.

This role is ideal for an engineer who combines strong technical depth with curiosity, fast learning, and an open-minded approach to applied research. You will work on cutting-edge problems at the intersection of large language models (LLMs), AI agents, learning environments, evaluation, human-AI collaboration, and education technology.

A key goal of this role is to build high-quality AI applications that bring frontier AI-agent ideas into real-world K–12 settings. Examples of relevant research and product directions include agent learning from classroom environments, long-horizon educational workflows, AI tutoring and grading agents, benchmark design, feedback-driven improvement, multi-agent teacher/student simulations, and rigorous evaluation of AI systems in authentic educational use cases.

Education Success Manager

We are seeking an experienced EdTech customer support professional to join our Education Success team as an Education Success Manager. This role is comparable to a Customer Success Manager position and carries direct responsibility for the full partner lifecycle, from onboarding and implementation through contract renewal and account expansion. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in the EdTech industry, a proven record of managing renewals and growing accounts, and genuine enthusiasm for how AI can enhance education. Depending on expertise, this position may be scoped as a senior role with cross-regional responsibilities.

In this part-time role, you will play a crucial role in expanding Colleague AI’s reach by connecting with educators, administrators, and decision-makers at schools and districts. Your primary focus will be to identify potential school partnerships, introduce them to Colleague AI’s solutions, and support them in exploring how AI can be used responsibly to enhance teaching and learning.

Marketing Internship at Colleague AI (Paid Position)

We are seeking a motivated, organized, and creative Marketing Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about marketing, social media, content creation, community engagement, and technology entrepreneurship. The intern will work closely with the founding team to support various initiatives aimed at increasing our brand presence and engagement within the K-12 education sector. This intern will be mentored by industrial veterans in technology marketing.
